SIPA Faculty Member Elected Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration
 
Dr. Meredith Newman, professor and chair of the Department of Public Administration in the School of International and Public Affairs has been elected as a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration. She will be officially installed this November during the annual meeting of the Academy in Washington D.C. The National Academy of Public Administration was established in 1967 and chartered by Congress as a non-profit independent coalition of top public management and organizational leaders who tackle the nation’s most critical and complex challenges. The Academy has a membership of 650 fellows who include current and former cabinet officers, members of Congress, governors, mayors, state legislators, diplomats, business executives, local public managers, foundation executives, and scholars.
